Ambiance was amazing. Staff was amazing. Food was hit or miss! My wife's steak was flawless, sides were ok but not great, and my steak was definitely not worth what I paid for it. When you drop $250 from 2 people, id expect nothing but the best. My steak was extremely tough and over cooked. Not a bad place but for how it was hyped up to me as the best steak in town, it most certainly wasn't for me.
Honestly I felt as though the food was overpriced for the quality of steak ordered. I ordered the 32 oz tomahawk ($120 BTW) with the potatoes and sliced asparagus as the side dishes. Sadly the tomahawk was fairly small. All the weight was in the long bone.
We drove over 3 hrs to eat here. It is a wonderful place to eat! Alex was a wonderful waiter. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. You could tell he loved and appreciated what he does. We will definitely be back.
I've been here a few times and every single thing has been awesome. Andrew was our server the last time. He had great drink recommendations and was very attentive the whole time we were there. The food and drinks were amazing. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
UPDATE: The restaurant contacted me after reading my review and apologized for the miscommunication regarding my reservation. I appreciate their reaching out to me. I will post a new review once I am able to revisit the restaurant. So, this updated 5 star review is simply a reflection on the management and how they went out of their way to fix this situation. ***** Called them on Wednesday to get a reservation for Friday night. They took my name and number and had me booked for 730. Showed up to the restaurant early for some cocktails and they had no record of my reservation. I was extremely disappointed. How do you take a reservation but fail to properly put it into your system? The hostess tried her best to find us a table but since we had a babysitter we couldn't leave it up to chance and had to find somewhere else to go. The manager on duty never came to apologize. Overall this was a very disappointing experience.
